Welcome to the Eagle Builders Centre, home of the Blackfalds Bulldogs.
What an amazing project to be a part of, we worked with the Town of Blackfalds to design and create an audio system for their world-class facility. We chose JBL 12” AM Series Loudspeakers and ASB Subwoofers to cover the bleacher seats and ice surface. These are all powered by Crown DCi Amps with BSS Soundweb products handling the I/O and DSP. The scorekeeper’s box and main booth have a mix of input and output connections, as well as a couple of wall plates with custom user controls. We installed remote antenna fins for great wireless microphone coverage, and a Denon Internet Radio Player. Middle Atlantic products were chosen for remote power sequencing to protect and prolong the life of the amps and speakers. We also interconnected with the Fire Alarm to ensure our system is muted during emergency situations.
We finished off this install with sound coverage that was brought to the lobby and the entrance with JBL pendant speakers in the lobby, and JBL point source speakers in the entrance. These provide a seamless extension of sound from the main arena speakers. It’s truly an amazing facility and we are pumped for all the different kinds of events that it will host.
